One important consideration when performing micropigmentation for oncology treatments is that it should always be initiated before the treatment process begins. The skin can suffer due to medications, which is why it is crucial to start beforehand.

Micropigmentation is also very useful for individuals with visual impairments or older adults who want to maintain the confidence of looking good but whose physical abilities may limit them.

This technique works on a very superficial layer of the skin. It can be performed at any time of the year and lasts approximately one year, although this depends on factors such as skin type, age, and lifestyle.

Its care requirements are minimal and basic, such as protecting the area from sun exposure. The procedure is performed "with all hygiene and safety guarantees for the client" and takes approximately two to three hours, with visible results from the first moment.
